I think every girl should own at least a little sequins in their wardrobe. I know I do. I love the way it looks. But too much sequins is NEVER a good thing! It can easily go from glam and chic to trashy and tacky. A little goes a long way. You do not need to over do it with jewelry or accessories. I love the pops of color in this outfit , in spirit of St.Patty's Days I wore a green blouse and paired it with very few simple accessories. My favorite time of the week, like most is the weekend. I love spending time enjoying the weekend out and about with husband and our daughter, visiting family and friends. I love to still be fashionable but comfy at the same time. A nice chunky sweater and flats are a must, especially in cooler weather. How do you keep comfy and fashionable when your out and about?

Dressing Up Denim Jeans Part 2

       My last blog post was number one out of two on ways to dress up denim jeans. This is look number two. I love this look because it reminds me of a business casual outfit. Although I would NEVER wear ripped or distressed jeans to a work place. In that scenario I would opt for a dark denim trouser or any dark undistressed denim jeans. In this case I was not in a professional setting which is why I am wearing distressed jeans. I really think that you can dress up any type of denim with a few key items...
* dressy top
* statement necklace
* heels and
* accessories
Not all of these have to be worn together, I  think it great to mix and match. A plain t-shirt with a bold statement necklace and a cute pair of heels and a great purse/clutch is one of my favorite ways to dress up denim. What are some of your favorite ways?     I  love dressing up in a great dress but I can never say no to a comfy pair of denim jeans. I  think they are so versatile.  You can dress them down with a cute t-shirt and a pair of cute flats or you can dress them up like I did here with a nice blouse, a nice statement necklace and a cute pair of heels.Because of the colder weather I wore a light sweater over my blouse to keep warm. This is just one way I love to dress up a pair of jeans. This is part one to my first post on dressing up denim jeans. Tomorrows post will be look number two.
