       My last blog post was number one out of two on ways to dress up denim jeans. This is look number two. I love this look because it reminds me of a business casual outfit. Although I would NEVER wear ripped or distressed jeans to a work place. In that scenario I would opt for a dark denim trouser or any dark undistressed denim jeans. In this case I was not in a professional setting which is why I am wearing distressed jeans. I really think that you can dress up any type of denim with a few key items...
* dressy top
* statement necklace
* heels and
* accessories
Not all of these have to be worn together, I  think it great to mix and match. A plain t-shirt with a bold statement necklace and a cute pair of heels and a great purse/clutch is one of my favorite ways to dress up denim. What are some of your favorite ways?     I  love dressing up in a great dress but I can never say no to a comfy pair of denim jeans. I  think they are so versatile.  You can dress them down with a cute t-shirt and a pair of cute flats or you can dress them up like I did here with a nice blouse, a nice statement necklace and a cute pair of heels.Because of the colder weather I wore a light sweater over my blouse to keep warm. This is just one way I love to dress up a pair of jeans. This is part one to my first post on dressing up denim jeans. Tomorrows post will be look number two.        It's been a while since I have posted a new blog post and that is because I have been extra busy and the weather here in Dallas has been very cold and rainy; not my favorite kind of weather. Last week one of my good friends since childhood came to visit from California. I had such a fun time having her here. We ended the week with many inside jokes and even more great memories.            I am LOVING this weather in Dallas lately! It's has been absolutely beautiful. It usually not warm enough to be wearing a short sleeve tops in early February, but I am not complaining. It just makes me more excited for spring and especially spring fashion. I can never get enough pastels florals, skirts and all the amazing spring dresses. I hope everyone is having a great week as for me i will be enjoying these warmer days outdoors with my family.

There are many things I love in life; Fashion, make up, cookie dough, a good book, chocolate, 75 degree weather ...and any excuse to wear heels even if I am wearing a comfy outfit. I will take every opportunity to dress up even if it is just to run errands around town. I have always been this way but more so now that I am at home most of my time; and even then I love dressing up a sweatshirt and sweats;) So whenever I leave the house like to use all the great clothes, shoes, and accessories I own. In my opinion you can't go wrong with dressing up you outfit a little bit. How do you dress up your casual outfits? Until the next post...

So, it been a couple days since my blog has been up and I am truly enjoying this new hobby of mine. It is a nice way to do something I like on my own free time, although that is rare having a three year old running around. There nothing I enjoy and get the most satisfaction than being a stay at home mom and dedicating time to my daughter. But it is definitely nice to have time to blog about something I love which is fashion and styling.I look forward to more posts and sharing them with all of you.

        As those of you that know me know that I was born in Honduras but was rasied in California. And although have lived in Dallas for a little more than ten years now. California, Southern California especially holds a very special place in my heart and always will. Whenever i go visit my siblings and childhood friends there it truly feels like home.But i have to say i LOVE Dallas because this is were i have some of my best memories, where i met the love of my life, married and had and have rasied our little princess. As for Honduras I am proud to be honduran and love my country.

         For the past couple days the weather here in Dallas has been pretty warm for late January, but definitely glommy with just a little bit of sunshine now and then. So I decided not to let this weather bring me down and enjoy the warmer weather.If you know me you know i LOVE bright colors and of course animal     print! But now it officially February which is one of my favorite months.So that means 28 days to make a fashion statement ;)
